Myself and my crew take pride in being able to pull things out of hats
I saw this poster on a visit to Warner Bros Studio, visiting “Harry Potter World”. It was on the wall, in the workshop where the gizmos and gadgets, prosthetics and weird and wonderful creatures from JK Rowling’s imagination came to life.
It resonated. It sums up so beautifully the teamwork, excellence and problem solving attitude to work (aside from the excitement of working on the movie set of one of the best‑selling novels of all time must have been!) that is part of my and Jurit’s work ethic.
An article this week from Positive News caught my eye, for many reasons. It’s always good to hear a good news story (there are not so many of them about at present), the subject of the article, Riverford, is one dear to my heart (organic food and local farming) and it was a success story of a small business, nurturing their team, giving them ownership (literally!) and using their imagination and drive to turn their business into something a bit more special, a place everyone wants to be part of and contribute to.
Surrounding oneself with a like-minded, driven team, taking pride in what they do, striving to be excellent and delivering solutions that address issues and problems for clients that transform their businesses, well, that’s when the magic really does happen.
