We are hiring - Partner, Commercial Property

We are offering the unique opportunity to inherit a successful, high-quality Commercial Property practice due to an impending retirement.

This opportunity should appeal to a successful, partner with in-depth experience in commercial property / real estate, who has the entrepreneurial flair to grow their own and an inherited practice on their own terms.

Jurit LLP is a virtual law firm whose lawyers operate on an entirely remote basis.

A Legal 500 ‘One to Watch’ (2024) firm, we are made up of a team of over 40 people based across the UK – many of whom are lawyers who have come from Top 20 or Magic Circle firms or were in-house counsel at FTSE 100 companies.

Our practice provides City of London levels of service to a diverse array of large and small clients located nationally and internationally.

The role:

You will lead the Commercial Property practice at Jurit, and will be entrusted with inheriting a range of established clients, whilst also developing your own practice.

You will:

  • Inherit an established practice
  • Have the ability to absorb and deliver on an existing high-quality client base
  • Have the ability and experience in managing complex cases
  • Have a strong grounding in all aspects of property law with relevant experience and a track record of successfully handling commercial property transactions at a senior level, including:
    • Acting for developers, funds, property companies, trusts and syndicates.
    • In property development investments, regeneration, co-ownership and property partnership joint ventures
  • Collaborate well with your peers on internal referrals
  • Be adept at undertaking the general responsibilities of partnership.

 

Key skills:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales.
  • Have at least 10 years+ PQE.
  • Be a top-quality solicitor with a track record
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to foster strong relationships through oral and written communication
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong business development skills
  • Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Excellent judgement
  • Ability to think strategically for the long term
  • A clear and logical approach
  • Adaptability – ability to be flexible and agile to meet the needs of clients and colleagues
  • Able to work virtually
  • Proficient in your use of IT
  • The right to reside and work in the UK.
