About Caroline
Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She has experience in advising individuals on many areas: including personal taxation, probate, estate planning (including the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney), personal immigration, the creation of Wills and trusts (both in the UK and in different jurisdictions) and the continued administration and taxation of trusts.
Caroline’s niche area is advising on the purchase and transfer of French property by UK based individuals and analysing the options available, including the use of French matrimonial contracts and preparation of bespoke Will(s) dealing with French and UK assets. She is also experienced in liaising with French notaire, where required.
Caroline is a member of The Society of Trusts & Estates Practitioners (STEP). She has a degree in Law and French (University of Bristol) and a Diploma in French Law (University of Poitiers).
