About Joe

Joe is a consultant solicitor in our Private Wealth & Tax team, with over 17 years’ experience as a lawyer. His specialisms include Wills, Estate Planning and Commercial Property.

Joe trained and qualified as a commercial property solicitor and initially worked at a national firm in the Midlands where he acted for developers and small businesses on the acquisition and sale of leasehold and freehold property.

In 2009, Joe moved to a local firm to assist with the growth of their commercial property practice, developing close relationships with clients, dealing with commercial finance, loan agreements and the acquisition and sale of property.

Making the most of his entrepreneurial flair, he went on to set up his own law firm in 2012, working closely with a large insurance brokerage to provide Wills and Estate planning advice to their client base.

He also specialised in undertaking Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Declarations of Trust and Probate Services. Many of the clients ran small businesses so this cross-over allowed him to develop the practice into a well-respected law firm advising on all aspects of the law, including debt recovery, overage agreements and option agreements.

More recent experience includes dealing with an overage agreement in respect to the sale of a sports club for potential future development, and an option agreement for the sale of a property to be converted to a commercial development with hotel facilities.

Today, Joe enjoys being able to provide a one-stop service for his clients.
