PROMOTED: Alex Peebles

An experienced tax law and commercial litigator, Alex represents clients in tax disputes with HMRC in the tax tribunal and higher courts and in commercial matters related to taxation.

Alex joined Jurit in 2021 from Newcastle-based Duncan Lewis Solicitors, together with Helen Cummings – a solicitor specialising in tax and commercial litigation – to establish the firm’s contentious tax practice.

Speaking of his appointment, Robert Marcus, Senior Partner at Jurit, commented:

Alex’s promotion comes at a time of rapid expansion for Jurit, following the acquisition of private client practice PWT Advice in 2021, which dovetails with the firm’s contentious tax practice.
