About Fiona
Fiona is an experienced employment lawyer who spent over 20 years as Senior Counsel at IBM UK.
She now provides employment law advice at Jurit for both employers and employees across all workforce related matters, including performance and disciplinary matters, grievances and whistle-blowing.
Fiona has a proactive, hands-on approach and focuses on helping her clients, whether employer or employee, to reach solutions that fit with their commercial or personal needs.
She is experienced in advising on individual and collective dismissals, and Employment Tribunal claims, advising on the merits of claims through to Tribunal hearings – including settlement negotiations, where commercially appropriate.
Fiona also advises employers on HR contracts, policies and processes and provides training to HR staff and managers. She has experience of collective consultation in workforce reorganisations, including TUPE transfers, changing employment contracts, and redundancies.
She guides employees through workplace issues including grievances, and disciplinary matters, advising on Settlement Agreements, restrictive covenants and family related rights.
“People are an organisation’s most valuable asset and I aim to give focused, commercial legal advice enabling clients to provide best practice and ensure a happy and productive workforce.”
